Take a short walk to an impressive waterfall spilling into a pool below. This is the only waterfall I know of that you can easily stand right next to it, and go for a dip in the pool on a warm day – every other waterfall is either far too powerful or not nearly powerful enough, but just like goldilocks, this waterfall is chef’s kiss just right. If you don’t feel like swimming, sit on one of the many rocks nearby and take a moment to relax and listen as the water cascades into the pool and then onward into Rocky Brook as it makes it’s way to the Hood Canal. It’s a wonderful experience.
