This is the place my husband first asked me out. You can walk a long way on the beach and find a quiet place with no one else around – perfect for sharing sweet nothings. The Strait laps onto a narrow beach, while the bluffs hold you in, making you feel somehow both adventurous and intimate. Kids love it here, as a mammoth skeleton was once discovered in the bluffs, and this fact beckons them. Closer to the parking lot, there are several picnic tables and firepits, so this is one of the few public places you can safely have a campfire. We love Port Williams. We come here often.
