Marymere Falls is the most well-known waterfall in the North Olympic Peninsula. The hike involves a lovely walk through old growth forest, over some rough hewn log bridges and up a few switch backs to this long, lean waterfall. Ethereal as ever, this hike is worth visiting if you’re enjoying a lake day at Lake Crescent Lodge or Bovees Meadow. It’s a lovely spot and well tolerated by most age groups. Parking can be difficult to attain, especially in the summer, but if you’re vigilant, you can find something. Typically there is some parking down by the boat launch nearby.
